I have thoroughly enjoyed the lessons from BiblicalTraining. I have never felt more [informed] and closer to Christ than I do now. I have always been a Christian as I grew up in a Methodist church in Maryland, about as far away from Camas, WA as you can get! I took early retirement so I could focus more on my business which is a ballroom dance studio.

I guess about a year ago something was moving me to rededicate myself to the Christian life which I departed from. All of this is behind me now and I find the Lord leading me back to his flock. So one day after searching for more knowledge I came across biblicaltraining.org and I haven’t stopped. I have completed all of “Foundations” and “Academy: and the first 2 units (Old Testament Survey and New Testament Survey - Gospels) in “Institute. I have earned 20 badges so far.

At 67 years old, I am about to become the pastor of the tiny Bible Church we have attended for over 40 years. This new series is very timely for me. I am through lesson 6 so far. The practical insights are a real blessing.

Beyond our mutual love for the Lord, my wife and I have several things in common with pastor Johnson. We too love kayaking (mostly flat water). We also have a special needs son who still lives with us. And my fondest memories growing up were of the vacations the family vacations that we spent in the Idaho panhandle. (Priest Lake)

I just wanted to quickly write and let you know that I was recently saved, and the Holy Spirit led me to your website and classes; and I am spending a lot of time taking them, and they have been a true blessing for me. I am so thankful. I truly did not know what it meant to be saved or Christ before this, although I identified with being a believer in Jesus and being a Christian my entire life.

I will recommend your classes to everyone I know! Sunday morning church is just not enough, and so many people don’t understand that. To truly love Christ, you have to know exactly what our history is and understand what the Bible means. I’ve often found the language hard to understand, but now I can open my Bible and figure it out! I am thrilled! Thanks so much for the great courses provided online and on the app. I am attempting to do some studies with friends in Africa. For one the app works well and he can watch each lesson. I'm online with one of them now. We are studying together. What a blessing. 

I just wanted to say, approximately 7 years ago, I became a born-again Christian. I cannot say exactly when I was saved but I do remember curiosity caused me to type "bible stories" or something like that on Google. I very eagerly listened to all your 52 stories of the Bible. [Those were] the first Christian videos I had ever watched, I believe!

I remember being in total awe of a giant, Holy, and sovereign God who wanted a relationship with his people, "How big is your God!" Several lessons had me in tears. I would say much of my Christian thinking found [its] seeds from your teaching.

By the time it came to the NT, Jesus just made so much sense. I was so in love and somewhere in there, God revealed himself to me in Jesus.

Bless you and the team. As I type these words I fondly remember falling in love with my Saviour and Lord for the first time.

I wish I had the words to capture how I feel about discovering the Biblical Training website and the solid, thoughtful, faithful, Christ-centered, Biblical teaching provided there. The "Bible professors" who taught me during my college days actually went through the Bible from Genesis to Revelation explaining how each miracle wasn't really a miracle after all. And that's just the beginning.

Adding to this, my husband and I attended a local church that slowly departed from Biblical truth year after year until God finally catapulted us to the church we currently attend that teaches both the grace AND truth of God's Word. Why all these years lost along the way? Only God knows. I must be a slower spiritual learner than I would like to admit. But I can tell you this, I treasure this teaching now more than I ever could have at age 18 or 19. I now understand what a rare treasure this is.

I shared the Biblical Training website with my pastor and the pastoral staff at my church. It's not a large church, but you never know! The pastor is visiting with us next weekend so I can walk him through the website. Of course, he has also seen how many once-solid pastors have walked away from Biblical truth, so understandably he is very tentative about introducing Biblical Training to his congregation unless he is convinced it has Biblical integrity. 

I will continue to share online, as well, even if he doesn't use it at church. This hidden gem will be hidden no longer from anyone in my circle of contacts, small though it may be. 

There are simply not enough words to thank you all for this life-giving, Christ-exalting ministry. May God bless, fill, and flow through you to reach many more for the glory of Christ. I will be praying for all of you.

The church’s responsibility in helping its congregants grow in their ability to “rightly handle the word of truth” has long been a concern for the leadership here at Fellowship Bible Church. Our aim was to provide a foundation in biblical knowledge that would include content, theology, and interpretation. Developing a curriculum and finding enough qualified teachers has proven difficult. Because I am profoundly deaf and legally blind, resources like BiblicalTraining.org give me important tools I need to study. What I have learned has strengthened my own faith and it helps me when I express my faith to other people.
