Eugene Brandt
Eugene was born in Louisville, KY but raised in South Africa. He returned to the States in 1997 with his wife Kathy. For the next three years he made his birthplace his home as prepared for ministry at Southern Seminary. After graduating he spent a year as a leadership resident in the Fellowship Associates Network. In 2001, Eugene and Kathy moved to Jackson, TN to help lead the launch of Fellowship Bible Church. He has served as the church’s lead pastor from its inception. In addition to these pastoral responsibilities, Eugene is a PhD candidate at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland.
Robbie Brown (Treasurer)
Robbie Brown retired in 2006 after 40 years with Brown-Forman Corporation spending much of his career in IT and logistics. He is now a private investor in the medical device industry and in property development in Costa Rica. He is a Foundation Associate of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. He was involved in prison ministry for about 20 years and was also heavily involved with Young Life of Louisville. He has a strong interest in bible study, theology (especially Soteriology) and church history (in particular the early church years and the Reformation years). He spends much time listening to and studying the lectures on BiblicalTraining.org. He is an Anglican evangelical, lives in Louisville, Kentucky and is married to Sarah Louise Brown.
Charles Campbell (Chair)
Charles is a licensed structural engineer engaged in the steel construction industry. He currently serves as President of Williams Steel Company and DSE Erectors Inc.; both located in Jackson Tennessee. In 2001, Charles became one of the founding elders of Fellowship Bible Church in Jackson where he and his wife, Debby, are active in discipleship ministries and mission work in Haiti. He began using online classes offered by Biblical Training in 2012 to develop a customized three year course of study for men and women in his church. Also involved with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, he has served on the board of the local chapter and as Board Chairman for the State of Tennessee.
Gene Dewhurst
Gene Dewhurst serves as Independent Director of Tristate Capital Inc. He has previously served as board of directors for various banks, vice president-finance and treasurer, Director of Falcon Seaboard Resources LLC, and Director of the United Fuel & Energy Corporation. Gene is active in civic and religious organizations currently serving as a director for Biblica, Inc., The Houston Symphony Endowment, and The David Dewhurst Foundation. He is a graduate of the University of Texas, Austin, and Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University and a recipient of the French government’s Chevalier de la Legion d’Honneur (Knight of the Legion of Honor).
Joe Handley, President, AsianAccess
Joseph W Handley, Jr. (@jwhandley) is the president of Asian Access. Previously, he was the founding director of Azusa Pacific University’s Office of World Mission and lead mission pastor at Rolling Hills Covenant Church. He co-led one of the first multi-national high school mission congresses in Mexico City in 1996 and is a contributing blogger for the Billy Graham Center’s EvangelVision Blog. Joe serves on the International Orality Network leadership team and the board of PacificLink. He is pursuing a Ph.D. in Intercultural Studies at Fuller Theological Seminary. Joe strives to develop leaders who multiply churches that transform nations. Asian Access is a vibrant community. We are an interdenominational movement working throughout Asia to identify, develop and release leaders of growing and reproducing churches. We're focused on training key leaders who will lead the church with vision, character, and competence. We are becoming a vibrant community of leaders in twenty countries of Asia, who will unite the church, extend the Kingdom, and transform the cultures of Asia for the glory of God.
Bill Mounce (President/Founder)
I am the President and founder of BiblicalTraining.org. BiblicalTraining started as a dream to share the highest quality education possible with the greatest number of people possible for the lowest price possible. Initially I was thinking in terms of elder training in the local, American church, but the dream quickly expanded to becoming a major training site for people around the world, especially for the poorest of the poor in the majority world. Mike Richards (Vice-Chair)
Mike Richards currently serves as a Partner in Bethesda Capital, LLC, a diversified investment company. His cumulative business career includes serving as the chair of two Houston area banks, the founder of his financial services company, for twelve years was a partner/owner and radio talk show host in two Houston radio stations, and served in the Texas Legislature as a State Senator. Mike just completed twenty years of service on the board of Biblica, (formerly International Bible Society), and is still serves on the board of a variety of other Ministry and Foundation boards. Mike and his wife Cynthia, live in Sugar Land, Texas, where they enjoy their two children, eight grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Steve Sammons (CEO)
Steve Sammons is the CEO of BiblicalTraining.org. Most recently, he was the Vice President for Advancement & Strategic Initiatives at Corban University. He has over 20 years’ experience in extensive general management, marketing, innovation and strategy experience across a variety of geographies, categories (Christian Publishing, Automotive, Consumer Electronics, and Aerospace). His past accomplishments include working as Zondervan’s EVP Consumer Engagement / CMO, Calumet Photograhic’s Global CMO, and a variety of executive management positions at Nissan North America. During Steve’s tenure at Zondervan he played a significant role in transition of the NIV Bible from 1984 to 2011 version. He was also instrumental in the acquisition and business development of Biblegateway.com. Most recently Steve launched the online video stream service DoveChannel.com which features only content which has been approved by The Dove Foundation. Steve currently serves on the advisory board for Compass College of Cinematic Arts in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky.
Cynthia Simmons, MD, FACEP
Dr. Simmons is a practicing physician trained in Emergency Medicine, a rancher and equestrian, and mother to two children in Tyler, TX. She began her career in Emergency Medicine and EMS systems in 1994. She serves as the Medical Director for several emergency rooms within the East Texas Medical Center System and is a the Medical Director for the City of Arlington and the Arlington EMS System in Arlington, Texas. In this capacity, she has been the Medical Director for high profile events at the Arlington AT&T Cowboys Stadium, Texas Rangers Ballpark and many concerts and other venues in Arlington. She has provided medical direction for Superbowl XLV, Major League Baseball World Series games, NBA Final Four, NCAA Cotton Bowl games, and countless other events. In her personal time, Dr. Simmons owns Diamond CJ Ranch and competes on the Ghostriders Equestrian Drill team, which is comprised of western riders throughout the East Texas area. However, she describes her most important role is serving as a mother to two very active children.
Byron Van Kley (Secretary)
Byron Van Kley is President of the Adair Homeownership Alliance of Companies. His experience is in business development and organizational leadership, which he has practiced for twenty years in several sectors ranging from professional services to non-profit to residential construction. While in his twenties, Mr. Van Kley founded a professional engineering firm that became a regional leader in natural resource surveying and mapping in the upper Great Lakes region. Upon selling the company, he entered the non-profit sector as a new church developer, founding River Rock Church in Vancouver, Washington. He then served as Vice President for Leadership Network of Dallas, Texas and Generous Giving of Chattanooga, Tennessee, managing the national collaboration between the two organizations and the Leadership Community program for large churches. In 2007, he became President of Adair Homes, Adair Financial Services and Inter-Pak Supply. Mr. Van Kley holds a B.S. degree from Michigan Technological University and a Masters degree from Calvin College and Seminary.
Forrest Henson (Deceased)
Mr. Henson is a leader in the import/export business for PVC chemicals. He has a deep love for the church, the downtrodden of Houston, and the Christians in India and Africa. His friend in the picture is a Maasai Warrior turned preacher. And even though he left high school 50 years ago, he still holds the all-time Kentucky high school batting record at over 500.

Steve Anonsen, Distinguished Engineer at Microsoft
Steve currently works in the Office division in the Office Extensibility team, which is responsible for extensibility, APIs and information worker tooling across Office, including the developer ecosystem and Microsoft Access products. Previously, he worked on Visual Studio in the Cloud Platform Tools group, which is responsible for tooling for Azure, Office and business applications more generally, including LightSwitch. Previous to that he was a Partner Software Architect (Microsoft) and a Technical Fellow and Dynamics Chief Architect (Great Plains Software). See his LinkedIn account.

Mike Fabarez
Dr. Mike Fabarez has been in pastoral ministry for over 30 years. He is the founding pastor of Compass Bible Church and the president of Compass Bible Institute, both located in Aliso Viejo, California. Pastor Mike is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute, Talbot School of Theology, and Westminster Theological Seminary in California. Mike can be heard on hundreds of stations on the Focal Point radio program. He has authored several books, including 10 Mistakes People Make About Heaven, Hell, and the Afterlife, Raising Men Not Boys, Lifelines for Tough Times, and Preaching that Changes Lives. Mike and his wife Carlynn are parents of three grown children, two sons and one daughter.
Tim Graham
After 28 years in various leadership roles at a number of well-known companies in the high technology industry, Tim retired in 2012 to pursue graduate theological education at Westminster Theological Seminary California. In his last role prior to retiring, Tim spent 8 years at Google, retiring as Senior Director of Engineering. During his time at Google, he was responsible for leading engineering teams of several hundred people to deliver a number of Google products. Prior to Google, Tim spent 9 years as a consultant in the high tech industry, spending time at companies such as eBay, Sun Microsystems, and Intel. Prior to his time as a consultant, Tim spent 10 years as an engineer at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory working on a range of scientific research projects. Tim holds a B.A. in Mathematics from Azusa Pacific University, and studied mathematical physics in graduate school at Cal Poly Pomona.
Randy Roberts, President, Western Seminary
Dr. Roberts’ ministry experience began with a variety of internships at Arcade Baptist Church in Sacramento before beginning seminary (he also taught Bible at a Christian high school). After graduating from Western Seminary he split time serving as the seminary’s Guided Field Education director and as Pastor of Assimilation at Lents Baptist Church in Portland. In 1987, he became a full-time special assistant to the president. He shifted to academics in 1998, serving first as dean of faculty and then as academic dean/provost until becoming president in 2008. Since 1987 he has taught a number of courses in spiritual formation, church history, and ministry design. Parallel to his time at Western, Dr. Roberts has served in a variety of congregational lay leadership roles (elder, deacon, etc.) in both existing congregations and church plants. He continues to teach Sunday school classes and church workshops. He also served for three years as a first-round judge for the ECPA Gold Medallion Award and chaired the Northwest Regional section of the Evangelical Theological Society in 1986 and the Evangelical Seminary Deans Council in 2006.

Ed Taylor (Website Director)
I am the director of BiblicalTraining.org, which means I am primarily responsible for editing the recorded audio, keeping the website up to date, answering questions that come in through email, developing relationships with churches and individuals that partner with BT and do many of the day-to-day things that come up. In one sense, I try to do whatever I can to free Bill up so that he can concentrate on vision, networking, and getting new classes.
Ray Brown (Director of Advancement )
My role as the Director of Advancement is to build relationships and encourage our friends, pastors and churches to pray and support the ministry of BiblicalTraining.org. I have watched BiblicalTraining.org since its inception to grow to be in the forefront of biblical education for all people. I have witnessed the commitment of the teachers and professors who have provided biblical courses for so many people around the world. I have seen the transformation of lives through life-changing courses on the Bible and theology taught by our faculty. Most of the courses are without cost to our students. Please take advantage of the courses that are available, not only for the great biblical education you will receive but for the transformation of your life.
My background is in advancement since 1966 I have had the pleasure to serve Whitworth University, St. Joseph Hospital Foundation, Virginia Mason Medical Foundation, Deaconess Medical Foundation, Simpson University Foundation, Orchard Foundation of the Christian & Missionary Alliance, Western Seminary, and now BiblicalTraining.org.
